Pipe Fusion

The pipe fusion process is a widely accepted process that joins two pieces of thermoplastic pipe together with heat and pressure. Tall Trenching Ltd. has years of experience completing on-site pipe fusion for customers across Saskatchewan that’s both safe and reliable.

With over 40 years of experience, we specialize in the fusion of high-density polyethylene pipe and fittings fusion work such as high-density polyethylene (HYDE), fusible PVC, electro-fusion, and underground pipework. Our Fusion technicians are highly trained and have plenty of field experience to operate all thermal fusion equipment (butt, socket, sidewall & electro-fusion), cutting equipment, mobile transfer equipment and have received high levels of training and experience in handling polyethylene to ensure your project is completed, on time, on budget and in all field conditions.

Some of the items we commonly fuse include:

  • High-density polyethylene (HDPE)
  • Fusible PVC
  • Electrofusion
  • Underground Pipe Work

Our machines are capable of fusing (or welding) a variety of different types and sizes of pipe. We use high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and Fusible C900 pipe for projects because of its lightweight, flexible and fusible qualities, as well as longer pull-length — meaning that material costs are lower than ever.
